WHY THIS WORKS - THE METHOD

Most anatomy courses get stuck in labels. This training helps you feel anatomy. We bridge Western systems (nervous & lymphatic, fascia, biomechanics) with Eastern maps (chakras, koshas, vayus) so you can translate energy into physiology—and back again. You’ll build embodied awareness that makes your teaching safer, clearer, and more effective—for every body.

Colynn Vosburgh

Owner of Frik-Shuhn Yoga & 500 hr E-RYT Lead Facilitator

Colynn Cespedes (Vosburgh) is a former ER nurse and medical school student turned international yoga educator, somatic facilitator, and business mentor. With over 25 years in yoga and 11+ years training teachers worldwide, Colynn brings a rare blend of Western medical knowledge and Eastern yogic philosophy into every training she teaches.

Her approach to anatomy is both scientific and soulful, rooted in the understanding that every body is unique, every story is sacred, and that true teaching comes from embodiment, not memorization. Colynn has taught more than 200 yoga teacher trainings globally and is known for her ability to make complex scientific concepts accessible, engaging, and deeply human.

Drawing from her background in trauma-informed care, Colynn creates inclusive and supportive learning environments where all bodies, identities, and experiences are welcome. She believes that yoga and science are not separate, just two languages that, when united, reveal how the body is both structure and energy, biology and spirit.

Today, she continues to inspire yoga teachers, movement practitioners, and lifelong learners to move beyond the textbook—to feel, explore, and embody the profound intelligence of the human body.

Colynn brought an amazing anatomy class that I am grateful to have learned from her. Also extremely knowledgeable with a strong yoga practice, I appreciated the different perspectives that she shared and balance she brought. Her light sense of humor and bubbly personality was approachable and appreciated.

Keeley

200 hour Yoga Teacher

Colynn has a very cool background and real perspective on life that personally prepared me for the life and work after the training. Things she taught us about manifesting, creating business, and dreaming big were so inspirational, especially given that it’s based on her own experience.

Lilianna

200 hour Yoga Teacher

Colynn brings a lot of experience and attention to detail. Her knowledge of the human body has greatly expanded my practice and appreciation for safe yoga instead of aesthetic yoga.
